Hakone is an amazing destination, but it gets crowded fast! If you want to enjoy its beauty without the crowds, here’s what you need to do:
🌅 Start at sunrise! The earlier you go, the more peaceful it will be. By afternoon, major spots are packed.
🚙 Drive if you can. It gives you flexibility and avoids long waits for public transport.
🏞 Visit Yamanashi in the afternoon! The western side of Mt. Fuji is much quieter than the eastern side. Check out Lake Motosu, where you can see the same view of Mt. Fuji as on Japan’s 1,000 yen note!
