Our Craziest Travel Adventure Yet! 🤯 A Perfect Storm…Literally! ✈️

Join us in Japan, for one of the absolutely craziest travel days or really weeks we’ve ever experienced! It is a whirlwind week, literally with a category 4 typhoon, earthquake and

First, we pack-up and head to Narita Airport near Tokyo, Japan. In an attempt, to beat the predicted mudslides that could take out trains on our route.

Last week, we experienced our 1st Earthquake during this trip and Steven’s 1st earthquake EVER. It was a wild way to start our travel week…BUT things only got crazier as Typhoon Ampil approached.

So, we packed our back packs and rushed to Tokyo to beat the downpours and possible mudslides. Our flight was delayed…and then cancelled. So we spent the night at The Art Hotel near Narita. We love this hotel, it’s amazing tantan ramen and its free shuttle.

Finally, we make it to Narita Airport the next day. We enjoy an AMAZING Japanese lounge before our 7 hour flight on JAL. It’s AWESOME! Our new favorite airline!
