The problem with putting the pots on the floor, is that the next thing they do is put them on the table, and then you have dirty floor water in the food. Pause the video at 0:50, and you can see a stream of floor water running off the bottom of the pan and into the cauldron. I am sure the heat kills the germs, but there will still be grit in the bottom of your soup bowl.
