During one of my stays in Osaka, I wanted to visit Kobe, just because it was so close, and I wanted to experience the city and eat some real authentic Kobe Beef. But most importantly I had a mission to complete. I wanted to conquer the second major night view of Japan.

I hit Mt. Hakodate, I was on my way to hit Nagasaki’s one, and in the middle was Kobe’s Mt. Maya. Unfortunately, the main ropeway was closed at the time that I was visiting, so because of that my only other option was to hike it, and it went a way I could never expect it to have gone…
