OUR VERY FIRST AUTHENTIC RAMEN!

As part of our itinerary for the day, we visited Ramen Alley, being ramen lovers ourselves, and neither the place nor the restaurant we chose that night disappointed us. Here are our few tips from our experience:

1. We first went there at 5 p.m., but most of the restaurants were still closed at that time, so we came back later in the evening.

2. This place can get very crowded on weekends, which is why we visited on a Tuesday evening.

3. Some restaurants are quite small and only allow a limited number of customers inside. Patience is key, and expect a long queue.

4. The ramen broth is so good that you’ll be tempted to fill up on it first. But be sure to finish the ramen noodles, pork, and egg first!

5. We always say “Gochisōsamadeshita” (Thank you for the meal) when leaving a restaurant. The staff appreciates hearing it from foreign customers and would always smile back at us.
