It’s the beginning of a new year, and my first video of 2025. I’ve come to Nagano Prefecture, nestled in the heart of Japan’s Honshu island, to hike the picturesque Mt. Meshimori. This scenic trail is an easy walk, offering breathtaking vistas at every turn. Along the way, I’ll be using my Firebox stove in two different configurations—boiling water and cooking a delicious lunch on an iron skillet.
