  1. Thank you for your great Japan videos 🙂 Me and my wife will go to Tokyo in the second week of May, or to Osaka around June 20th. We havn't decided yet, but will do this weekend.

  2. Just to make sure. The Smart Ex app now accepts debit cards? Before this they only accept credit cards. Klook is also another great option.

  3. We plan on going to Japan for our honeymoon in 2026 but I've already been watching videos like this. Super helpful! Thank you so much!

  4. I’m going on my second trip with my husband late May/early June, and we’re planning to visit Osaka, Kanazawa and Tokyo. As much as I’d dearly have loved to have gone for my birthday it falls right at the start of Golden Week so it’s not the best idea

  5. Counting the days now till we fly in April. Tokyo, Kyoto, Kinosaki, Hiroshima/Miyajima and Kyushu. Hotels and Ryokan all booked. Just trains and car hire to and some of the busier attractions to book. Never been so excited for a family holiday, can’t wait. Thanks again for all the inspiration through your videos, guide book and now the planning deck

  6. We are going for cherry blossom, we’ll have three nights in the city – eek! Deffo on list borderless, Shibuya sky, ginza and also as much as we can fit in – then off on a cruise around the main island. Can hardly wait!

  7. May i ask how crowded is around Tokyo during late March (around 20-ish till end of month) as well as Climate if it's gonna rain or shine?

  8. I’m going with family early April for 2 weeks. Really scared for crowds as it is Sakura season and School holidays in the first week. Really don’t want to ruin my experience because of heavy crowds.

  9. Will be taking train from Tokyo to Kyoto. If all I’m wanting is a decent view of Mt Fuji, would the train view be good….? Or is it still worth spending a day specifically focused on traveling to another spot to view. We don’t really like hikes.

  10. Quite the serendipitous upload for me, I'm heading to Tokyo tomorrow! Granted I've done a ton of research up to this point so I knew most of the stuff in this video that's relevant for right now, but your videos have been great for trip planning. Thanks for keeping everyone up to date!

  11. Great video! I’m glad to hear about a different perspective on over-tourism. It does seem like some aspects were exaggerated in SNS.

I’m flying to Japan in late February, so excited! Do you know if there are any IC charge stations at Narita airport that accept iPhones/Apple Watch, apart from the convenience stores? All the videos I’ve seen only show card-only stations (at least in T2).

  12. I like that it’s considered a “feature” to restrict you to a certain region with the mobile Suica passport as opposed to just getting the normal Suica mobile that doesn’t restrict you.

  13. We're going back for trip #2 to Japan this fall. Heading north this time to visit Sapporo, Otaru, Asahikawa, Hakodate, and Aomori. Can't wait!!

  14. Going to Japan in a few weeks: Fukuoka – Nagasaki – Kumamoto – Okayama – Takamatsu. This is my fourth trip to Japan.
I’m going to see a few shows by one of my favorite Japanese bands and their tour dates helped determine the itinerary. Getting tickets to shows from overseas is quite an adventue that can change from band to band and venue to venue.

  15. I'm coming to Japan March 24th-April 21st. Hoping to catch some sakura for the first time. I've been during all other seasons but never sakura.

  16. Thank you for the information! Do you know if they sell the Suica card inside security restricted area at Narita airport? I was wondering if I could get it there before going to Osaka.

  17. Just found your channel and already subscribed 😊 thanks for all the amazing information. My husband and I are going to japan all October and some days of September , planning to go tokyo, osaka and Kyoto at least. 🎉

  18. I want to go to Nintendo World with my son in April but I have no idea how to approach it. There are too many options online and it confuses me, We aren’t too interested in much outside of the Nintendo stuff and Im prepared to pay more if it guarantees me access.
