In this video I have 5 reasons for you why Osaka needs more of your attention in your Japan planning. It’s a great city, but it isn’t just the amazing aspects within the city that make it the best choice– there are quite a few others as well!
Osaka and Tokyo are two of my favorite cities in the world, I would rather spend time in either one of them than almost anywhere else. No matter what you choose, you won’t be making a mistake!

⚠️ Off the beaten path in Osaka can be a little sketchy though so anyone visiting still needs to be careful. ⚠️
I think you got lucky with the weather and I agreed with everything you had to say about Osaka. Kobe and Himeji would also make nice day trips.

You are not the only one, I do agree Osaka is better in many ways than Tokyo. Sadly, in my last trip in November I wasn´t feeling too well and wasn´t able to appreciate Osaka once again all its attributes. The Osaka Aquarium is wonderful, I am happy to be able to see it.
