Japan Autumn 2024 – Day 9 (Kyoto) – Part I
Our 2nd full day in Kyoto took us to Nanzen-ji area where we visited not only the temple grounds, but also, to the architecturally contrasting Suirokaku, an aquaduct that is still active in bringing water from Lake Biwa to Kyoto City. We were twice lucky when we managed to get a seat at Blue Bottle Coffee Kyoto Nanzen-ji in no time before heading to Eikando for a view outside. The 2nd half of the day will see us taking a stroll at the Philosopher’s Path to Ginkaku, which will be coming up in the next video!
