Hey folks, back in Tokyo for another round of exploration. Treasure hunting through the city’s amazing secondhand shops and watch boutiques has been our bread and butter but do not fold right away because we have more than that in our lineup!

Thrifting for Timepieces

Japan is a watch lover’s paradise, and Tokyo is the epicenter of it all. From vintage Rolexes and Omegas to quirky Seiko automatics, you can find some incredible timepieces at a fraction of their retail price.

One of my favorite spot would be in the form of BookOff Super Bazaar in any area of Japan. They have a huge selection of watches from all the major brands, as well as some lesser-known gems. I found a beautiful vintage Rolex Submariner there that was in mint condition for a fraction of the price.

But the real treasures are often found in the backstreets of Tokyo. There are countless tiny shops tucked away in alleyways, filled with unique and affordable watches. You just have to be patient and do some digging to find them.

Tokyo, Japan – a city where ancient traditions collide with cutting-edge modernity, creating an intoxicating blend of culture, food, and, yes, some of the best shopping on the planet. Join me as I navigate Tokyo’s vibrant streets, hunting for the perfect timepiece and diving into its thriving secondhand and luxury watch scene. From hidden gems in Nakano Broadway to the glitzy boutiques of Ginza, I’ll show you where to score pristine pre-loved treasures and the latest horological masterpieces. Let me state this one, we also found an amazing Vintage Luxury Watch store that can even surpass antique level of luxury wrist piece.

But before all that, your first stop will definitely be the airport. If your target is Tokyo, you might had the dilemma of picking between Haneda and Narita. I’ll be explaining in this episode some differences between them and all you need to do is pick your poison. If you will take the same pill as me, then let me guide you on how to navigate Narita Airport and be a pro in few minutes!

Where to book & pick your wifi, Where and how to get cash, Where and what IC Card you can get as tourist. All of these things will be tackled step by step so you can save time in navigating Narita Airport.

I hope this episode will make your Tokyo Japan travel smoother and a lot easier compared to my first visit!

  1. I am glad to see your consistency even if it is already 2025. Is it just me or there are changes with the thumbnail too?

  2. Bro, yung Welcome Suica yung pumunta akong Tokyo last year naka cover yan e. So pumunta ako sa counter ayun naka kuha ako Suica card. Pera baka kumuha din ako nyang Welcome Suica pag balik ko dyan for personal collection lang pero tong Suica parin main card ko kasi may laman pa ito yung huling byahe ko.

  3. Go show some Aqua Terras (The same as on your previous video). If it is a good deal, maybe i could get it from you. 😅 Happy new year and cheers

  4. Why not Passmo Passport? That's what we used last year. Is there a difference with the Welcome Suica?
