Continuing our hike at Togakushi Shrine, we ventured toward the upper shrine, where the legendary cedar-lined path unfolded before us. The towering trees, some centuries old, formed a majestic corridor that seemed to stretch endlessly. The filtered sunlight streaming through the dense canopy created an ethereal glow, casting long shadows on the forest floor. Every step along this iconic avenue felt like walking through a living painting, steeped in history and spirituality. Reaching the upper shrine was a fitting end to this awe-inspiring journey, a place where nature and the sacred stood in perfect harmony.
