Because so many of you asked on a post a while back, my Instagram can be found on my Reddit profile.

I take you with me on my guided photography tours through Japan that happen bi-annually in fall and spring. Goal is to make one post every week with a photography day. 😊 Hope you‘ll enjoy.

Our journey in Nagano began with a hike to the Togakushi Shrine, starting at the lower and middle shrines. The path meandered through a serene forest, where the tranquility was broken only by the rustling leaves and the occasional „Caution Black Bear“ sign. While the towering cedars of legend lay further ahead, this part of the hike introduced us to the shrine’s understated beauty—quiet streams, moss-covered stones, and the timeless architecture of the shrines themselves. It was a peaceful prelude to the grandeur waiting deeper in the forest.
