As you head to the Japanese Alps, consider a stop at Daiō, one of Japan’s largest wasabi farms — covering 15 hectare in Azumino, Nagano Prefecture. The waterways and surrounding acres are lovely, and the wasabi ice cream is a true bonus with a side of wasabi for the brave.
