【#46 Tai’s Snorkeling Trip in Okinawa】Backside of Gahi island, Zamami island, Okinawa, Japan
My name is Tai from Japan. I did Snorkeling on Gahiura point in Gahi island near Zamami island, Kerama islands, Okinwa, Japan in 24/10/2021.
Gahi island is a small uninhabited island near Zamami island. Some small boats carry tourists to the island for 1500yen(about $15) with 10 minutes.
The Gahiura point is on back side of boat landing point. If you go straight through from boat landing point beach you can find backside beach of the Gahi island. You can find drop off 30m from the beach. You can see a carpet of table corals there.
Depth: 2 to 5m, Tidal current: South to Noth in the ebb tide and Noth to South in the flood tide, Difficulty: Middle, Camera: Orympus Tough TG-6.
