⁴ᴷ Gifu: Gifu Station (岐阜県: 岐阜駅) – Japan Walking Tour (December, 2024)
Since it’s getting colder, I decided to head west. I planned to visit the major cities of Shikoku, so after crossing the sea, I took a ferry from Tokushima to Wakayama, then passed through Osaka, Shiga, and finally Gifu Prefecture. I’m gradually getting closer to Tokyo.
Since it’s Sunday, the bar district near the station is pretty quiet. Today, I decided to walk around the Yanagase arcade shopping street, heading toward the Masago-za strip theater, and also past Wakamiya-cho Street to the Sumiyoshi-cho area. In Yanagase, there were quite a few older men trying to drum up business for the local establishments, which gave off a somewhat nostalgic vibe. Next time, I’d like to visit on a livelier day of the week.
