Hokkaido Japan Vlog 14 : Part 1 Highlights – Snow, Food, and Fun!
Hey everyone!
Welcome to my Hokkaido vlog series! I’m excited to take you through the first two days of my adventure in this beautiful region of Japan. Let’s dive right in!
Day 1: Arrival and First Impressions My journey began with a flight into Hokkaido, and I arrived at the New Chitose Airport bright and early. The moment I stepped out, the cold, crisp air greeted me, and I knew I was in for an exciting trip. After settling into my hotel, I decided to explore the nearby areas. My first stop was the bustling Miisui Outlet, where I grabbed some fantastic deals and enjoyed the shopping experience.
Later in the day, I indulged in the relaxing hot springs at my hotel. The warm, therapeutic waters were a perfect remedy for the chilly weather and a great way to unwind after the flight. The experience was incredibly rejuvenating and set the tone for the rest of the trip.
Day 2: Snowy Adventures and Cultural Delights Day 2 was packed with exciting activities. It started with an adrenaline-pumping snowmobile adventure in Noboribetsu. Zooming through the snowy landscapes was an exhilarating experience, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. If you ever visit Hokkaido, I highly recommend trying this out!
Next, I visited the Ninja Village at Date Jidaimura. This theme park offered a fascinating glimpse into Japan’s Edo period, complete with ninja shows, samurai exhibits, and traditional performances. It was a fun and educational experience, perfect for history buffs and families alike.
The day concluded with a visit to Jigokudani, also known as Hell Valley. The dramatic volcanic landscapes and hot steam vents were both awe-inspiring and a little eerie. It’s a unique natural wonder that you shouldn’t miss when in Hokkaido.
Stay tuned for the next part of my Hokkaido adventure! Thank you for joining me, and I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I did!
Cheers!
Chester Cheng
