Discover MOUNT FUJI: Hidden Gems + BEST Things To Do Around Mount Fuji, JAPAN!
Discover the best things to do around Mount Fuji, the most iconic mountain in Japan! Also known as Fuji-San, this volcano is the most famous mountain in Japan, and there is so much to explore all around it! In this video we explore some of the best things to do and places to visit around Mount Fuji, including some incredible hidden gems that most tourists miss.
We spent four days exploring all the most famous sights surrounding Mount Fuji, starting with the iconic Chureito Pagoda, followed by the stunning Shiraito Falls, and a fun cycling ride around the Five Lakes. We also visited two traditional historical villages: Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba and Oshino Hakkai, as well as the beautiful Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine.
The base for our Mount Fuji adventures was the incredible Glamping Villa Hanz Kawaguchiko (https://gv-hanz.com/), a beautiful property with Mount Fuji views and fun glamping concept.
While you can explore the area surrounding Mount Fuji with public transport, the easiest way to do so is with your set of wheels. We rented a car with Discover Cars and it was the best choice to freely explore these beautiful spots around Mount Fuji.
