A must do for any Hiroshima itinerary has got to be trying okonomiyaki, a Japanese savory pancake layered with noodles, fried egg, pork belly, and a delicious savory sauce. We visited the 7 story building called Okonomi-mura, filled with 23 okonomiyaki restaurants and tried this famous local cuisine for ourselves. We chose a shop based on how many people were already there as we had no idea which one to go to! We both LOVED it and even went back the next day for seconds.
