Rainy Walk in Old Logging Village | Kyoto, Japan 4K

This old logging village in Kyoto Prefecture is unique with its large wooden storehouses and traditional Japanese homes along a river through the mountains. This afternoon the rain came in just as I was starting to walk on the forested road above the village. It is very quiet, and it seems that many of the buildings are abandoned. At one time this would have been a center of woodcrafts, and there are still a few handmade wooden objects visible in front of some of the homes. The rain and flowing river provide nice water sounds along the walk, I hope you enjoy it.
