In the still, icy grip of a New York winter, a yellow wooden house rests quietly in the snow, its walls holding the weight of time.

This was once the home of Stefan and Janina, a Polish couple, and their son Adam, who was training in emergency medical services—a family bound by faith, love, and simplicity.

As we step inside, the frost lingers on every surface, mirrors and windows adorned with intricate ice crystals. The air feels heavy, literally frozen in a moment long past. Each room seems to carry a weight of the memories of these moments—and religious artifacts, family photos, and carefully preserved belongings tell of a life now abandoned but once deeply cherished.

And then, the unexpected— despite being left behind since 2011, this house is still alive in some ways. Electricity courses through its walls, bringing old appliances to life. To our surprise, the television flickers to life, showing nothing but a snowy image, much like the world outside, where everything is still and covered in white.

Why did they leave, and why does this house remain so untouched, as if waiting for their return? In the subzero silence, we’ll uncover the fragments of their story, piecing together the life of a family now etched in the frost of a forgotten place.

  1. Fantastic location! I absolutely loved the snow. It’s a balmy 26F and snowing here while watching the video. It’s crazy the electricity is still working. Someone is paying the bill. Sad they’re leaving the house to disintegrate. The furnishings are very dated, 1970’s and 1980’s styles. Still a home that shows lives filled with love. Most excellent! Cheers. ❤

  2. This house reminds me of the farmhouses I see where I live. The front porch is a place where I would sit in a rocking chair relaxing. Loved the snow outside it made the yard so beautiful. The furniture left behind is so beautiful it's sad that it will Decay over time. Loved the work you did to bring this sweet farmhouse to life,.

  3. Beautiful yellow cozy house. Love all the knickknacks like the owls and ducks. Beautiful items left like furniture and magnifying 🔍 🤓 perfect for exploring ☺️.
Even in New York to make us cold ❄️.
Absolutely love the frozen EX ❄️ in the intro. Dank je 😻 Maureno 📸🎉
No way the electric 💡 was working. Someone is definitely paying for it.

Foarte interesant.
