Around The World Progress – Flight 21 of 33
Flight 21 Fun Fact – Out of the 5 flights I took throughout Japan, this was the only segment not operated by a wide body. With a population of 124 million people, while only being the same size as the state of California, Japan has a massive demand for domestic travel. Meaning it is easily viable for airlines like Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways to run large wide body aircraft on short, domestic routes. In the past, All Nippon Airways even operated domestic 747-400’s configured with over 560 seats.

  3. Had to go on Flight Radar 24 to see all of the departures out of Haneda to find out what airline had the striking black/white livery. Airline is Starflyer (looks like SF on the tail). Didn't check all of the departures but found them flying quite a few flights to a city named Kitakyushu……also Ube, Fukuoka and Osaka. Nice looking aircraft.

  4. Had my mouse to full throttle and finally caught up with you – thanks for taking us along – enjoying it a lot!!!👍

  5. Like you mentioned in your text JAL operated several Jumbo's during their period. JAL was once Boeing's Asia's premium customer. They build even 747-400's in a one class configuration for 560 passengers without winglets. What Lufthansa was in Europe was JAL in Asia in terms of customer standing.

  6. WOWOWOWOWOW!!! Super-Fantabulous views taking off!! Great views of HND. Whoa! There's the green Gargantua down there! 🙂 And there's Barugon stomping on the port! 🙂

And… he's off on the next exciting leg of his Super-Amazing Race around the world!! Yep, that was Phil Koeghan at the gate there handing you your next clue.

I imagine it must have been very humbling to see Hiroshima given the dark historical happening decades back.

Anyhow, we had a very dark, wet day here today. It was even super-dark at High Noon. it's usually a lot brighter, but not today.

So… another fine, Super-Awesome video on your part today…. keep winning those Gold Medals… keep your eye on that $10 million prize at the end.

  7. 広島は原爆ドームをはじめ、厳島神社など歴史もあり、瀬戸内海でとれる牡蠣やもみじ饅頭は絶品で食も楽しめる豊かな日本の地方都市です。
    日本に来た際には是非お楽しんでみてください。Welcome to Hiroshima🇯🇵
