Experience Shanghai Bund in HEAVY RAIN during Typhoon Kong-rey
We arrived on November 1st in Shanghai after circling around for an hour waiting for a weather window to land. It was the tail end of Typhoon Kong-rey and it left blustery winds and heavy rain.
We walked through it and it was wonderful, under the umbrella, but our trousers still got soaked.
Walk with us along the Bund with the skyscraper lights of the new Pudong and the yellow lights of the old Western Bund buildings, with the magic of the rain pattering on our umbrella and reflecting the lights to make it even more special.
This is the first of many videos to come from our China and Japan trip. Coming up we will visit Nanjing Road, Pudong area, Hop-on-hop-off buses daytime and night time, Yew Gardens at night, a monumental fail, cruise on Spectrum of the Seas, Kobe, Osaka and Yokohama, plus the amazing views from the hotels and ship.
It was quite warm all the time we were in China and Japan – between 19º and 23º
