Join us (Jim & Kate, in our mid fifties) as we easily explore the stunning port city of Hakodate, located in Hokkaido as part of our Japanese adventure during the Transpacific Cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas.

From breathtaking views at Mount Hakodate to the fresh seafood delights at the Morning Market (that we don’t taste!) this city is a perfect blend of nature, culture, and history. We visit iconic spots like the Goryokaku Fortress and travel on a bus, an aerial ropeway, a tram and in a taxi. We really enjoyed this compact City, so much to see and do.
