  1. Thanks for this! Exactly what I've been looking for. Will definitely have to hit these in February when over.

  2. Are you wearing a mushroom necklace??? 🍄🌷💖
I abstained from alcohol for many years, but recently began re-integrating some good beer/ale. I LOVE BEER! It has to be a real craft/ferment of good ingredients and spirit. Also, I fast all day like always. Only exercise/water/botanical-medicines in the daytime, but when I settle into the nest/temple and end my day, break my fast, begin feeding/resting, I start with a good, strong beer. Beer is amazing, or it can be.

  3. Every boy dreams of one day becoming that mysterious crazy-eyed guy sitting alone at the end of the bar who knows something noone else knows & then announces his name, making sure to repeat his first name twice. 🍸

  4. We enjoyed every second of this video. We usually visit Tokyo and spend our evenings with friends. Next time, I might try spending some time on my own. Great video!

  5. Given that I just hit five years of sobriety and am vegan, the mocktails and vegan snacks at Sumadori Bar seem as if they would totally be my jamm!

Thanks for sharing a glimpse at some different 一人飲み options Shizuka!

  6. Hi Shizuka! Is there a bar where we can drink cocktails while hanging out with cats? People can be so boring sometimes! 😂🍸🍹🐈🐈🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈🐈🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

  7. This is it Shizuka-san. Going to Japan next year booked and uncancellable but insured XD Being honest,

There is just so much thing to do in Japan in this case drinking or Eating wise. I have been there and I always feel like weeks is not enough and very fast XD And being honest I wish I could live there and doing my best on studying the Language and culture good and bad.. Japan is so Amazing in many ways no matter how other people will see it.. in my opinion..

  8. So did we end up eating the fried shrimp’s head? Yeah I would probably ask the chef if that was really a thing too.

  9. everyone talks trash about Omideo alley but we met Japanese Opera singers and grilled meats and laughed for hours.
    Japanese people are so great
    Shizuoka is amazing !!
    thanks for all the adventures

  10. My problem when i eat sushi is im a big 6.2 tall big man and i squeeze the chopsticks so hard or maybe is in the wrong place?. She does an amazing, delicate job picking up specially the tuna trio 😀

  11. This channel is becoming a way to promote alcoholism. This woman host is basically an alcoholic, having a drinks in every video she presents and glamorising alcohol and drinks in a way that its normal and everyone is doing it and should do it as well. The way this host fakes her emotions and over exaggerate them is very obvious and the fact that people find this act of her cute proves her deceiving intentions. Such a pathetic way to make your channel mainstream and a way for a person to show that they are extrovert and joyous to be around. This type of behaviour and thought process only shows how deep someone can fall to be in limelight, instead of showing about japan and its food which this channel does show but all that is overshadowed by their alcohol promotion and glamorisation. This woman and whoever is coming up with this idea should be ashamed but I know for a fact these people won't be.

  12. Gonna be honest, I had really low expectations for this video but it ended up being one of the better ones.

For the first 2 places even though it's advertised as "for solo" the language barrier seems to be potentially insurmountable, so maybe some more time should be spent on that?

  13. 0:46 – I must say, if Shizuka came up and randomly asked me to go for a drink with her, I'd probably ditch any plans I already had immediately 🥰 Not looking for a husband, are you? 😅 Another great vid. A friend of mine from China showed me the Japanese tv show The Solitary Gourmet a while back, which I understand was to encourage more people in Japan to feel OK going out to eat alone.

  14. I love your videos. I spent 15 years living in Japan. I have to say I always had anxiety before entering a new establishment alone that the staff would say "last orders" and give me a hand T ('time') sign even though its 7.30 PM. I visited my friends in Osaka last week, I had a lovely time overall, but it was a shame that on the last night I got the T sign from 2 places. The idea of a 'foreigner friendly' bar/restaurant is an alien concept to Londoners.

  15. Whaaaaaaaaaaat? Who would put Shizuka down, when she want to spend some time with you!? You must be a demon!
