Open to the Sea: Photographing Rebun Island in Hokkaido, Japan
I travelled to Hokkaido, Japan in the fall of 2024 and spent 4 weeks photographing this beautiful island with my Leica SL3, SL2, and Q2 Reporter. This first episode is about Rebun Island, where you feel “Open to the Sea.” The nature is powerful and the photography is great!
Have you ever been to Hokkaido? How about Rebun? If so, let me know. I’d love to hear about your experiences in Japan’s wild, wild, north.
