We recently visited the highly popular Plarail Festival (Plarafes) in Tokyo’s Koenji, and this video captures all the action! Join us as we dive into a world of Plarail, featuring fan-favorite trains like Doctor Yellow, the E5 Series Shinkansen Hayabusa, and the E6 Series Komachi speeding through a massive layout. Plus, we attached a camera car to capture exciting front and rear views, bringing you a true train driver’s experience!

This event was supervised by Japan’s famous Plarail master, Junsei Matsuoka, a.k.a. “Mr. Plarail,” and hosted by volunteer group Makkomy, making it an unmissable event for Plarail fans of all ages. The Plarail Festival tours across Japan, allowing visitors to enjoy huge open spaces to freely run their trains—something hard to replicate at home. It’s truly a dream playground for kids and adults alike!
