Glad you tried raw squid twice – you are definitely brave. It's an acquired taste and texture. I know what you mean about the slimy and toughness – my parent fed me squid since I was a youngster and love it. OTOH Mexican slimy nopales (cactus) salsa fresca is something I still can not eat – so I understand where you are coming from.

If you’re going to try wagyu, eating the round cut of the beef isn’t the ideal choice. That explains the affordable price tag.
Would you try fugu fish(puffer fish). It has a very poisonous sac, but prepared by professional chef it is safe. People who do it at home have died.
Squid 🦑 is good its healthy all so 😅 but yeah if you don’t like it ehh 🤷♂️
Japan they do undercooked and sashimi style raw chicken. Their prep of chicken from raising it and their diet to table is different from the US so there isn't that much of a risk of salmonella but my constitution/stomach couldn't handle it. Also, just get Okonomiyaki next time, much better than Monjayaki. The best ramen I've ever had was 700yen (1000 yen today). Don't go to expensive viral places like Ichiran. You can get superb Ramen at cheap prices anywhere else.

I agree that overseas. There are some awesome restaurants in train stations and in the airport outside security.
