LIVING in FUKUOKA | No.11 | Finding Retro in Fukuoka - Retro coffe shop, Udon shop, vintage book
I live in Fukuoka.
And this is a vlog of my ordinary days.
The time passes by quickly and it’s already the 4th of October.
Recently “retro” is popular around the world and I also like retro, vintage, antiques. This week, I visited some places that I can feel retro.
I took a short trip to Dazaifu to visit the cupping champion’s coffee shop,
Udon place which became the filming location for the famous Japanese Drama “The Solitary Gourmet” in Hakata, Book Store where you can find very premier Japanese vintage books and printed materials.
All of these were great and I highly recommend visiting.

serves excellent coffee.

10 ~15 minutes walk from Hakata station.
If you are taking a bus, get off at Gofuku-machi, or Okunodo.
This Udon shop became a filming location for the famous

Original charactor breads are too cute and instagrammable.
Each breads are around 200 yen to 300 yen.
