    This is my opinion as a person who worked as a boat delivery from a neighboring country. Foreigners also need a license to sail in Japan. It is illegal to sail without a license if it is not non-powered or not for the purpose of participating in an international yacht competition. However, foreigners who visit are not given the opportunity to obtain a license. Only those who have a visa for more than 3 months and have an address in Japan can take the certification test.

    In fact, you must obtain customs clearance every time you move from one port to the next in Japanese territorial waters. The Japanese coast guard sometimes takes issue with these regulations and sometimes turns a deaf ear. It is unpredictable when and why such a law will apply it. Japan has too many cases where the surface and the real thing are different. Laws related to yachting are too complicated, unrealistic, and costly. You cannot moor your pleasure boat in an unspecified place unless it is an expensive marina. In other words, the Japanese have few freedom on the sea. They are not even allowed to swim beyond the life guard line on the beach. They should go to the sea not for pleasure but to show compliance with the law. I think that's the main reason why it's so rare for a person to enjoy sailing in Japan.

    Japan is beautiful country and also my favorite destination, so I hope Japan can be modernized.

    Ellie looks like she might have a staph infection. I was just a glimpse but from a distance it had the look of staph to me. It may not be a bad idea to get it looked to by a doctor. Sorry to cause worry but better safe than sorry.

    Pro Fishing Tip! 🎣
    If the boys are right handed, move the reel handle over to the left side. If you can teach them to hold the rod in the right hand and reel with the left hand, they'll never have to swap hands after casting. (They'll thank you when they're older and catch way more fish than their Dad and friends.)

    Another great epi but in regard to Typhoons mate,the other option is don't sale in the monsoon season which now July to Dec.😊 I have sailed the Philippines/Thailand a lot over the years with no probs even sailing a hobi cat in a Cat 3 Typhoon😅
