Okutadami Maruyama Ski Resort
“Okutadami Maruyama Ski Resort” is located deep in the mountains of Niigata, an area known for its heavy snowfall.
To access this ski resort, you must pass through a long tunnel over 20 kilometers in length.
Due to the deep snow, the resort is actually closed during the heaviest snowfall from January to March. However, it remains open late into spring, which is when we decided to visit!
Despite the warm weather this spring, making the conditions challenging for skiing, there was still plenty of snow, and we had a great time!
