    Hi, Shiba-shiba – This is the first video I saw from your channel. It was very helpful – thank you! I just have two questions: 1) Can you just tap in your IC card and go through the gates, or do you need a special ticket to accompany your IC card to board that Nara train? I'm not referring to the Seishun 18 kippu that you use in the video. I read online that there were some special trains that required additional payment and a ticket, so I just want to double-check 🙂 2) Is there a pass you would recommend to travel with trains and buses covering Osaka and Kyoto, including Nara and Uji?

    Thank you so much for your videos. I travelled to Osaka, Kyoto, Nara and Kobe recently with a family member on a manual wheelchair, using both the JR and Kintetsu lines. We didn't encounter much problem except some miscommunications with the station attendants which resulted in some comical situations that will be remembered for a long time !

    Hi Shiba-Shiba! Thank you for your videos. I'm traveling to Japan this December and I just watched 10-12 of your videos. Great job! My travel is: Kyoto to Nara-Uji and back (paid with IC Card) Kyoto to Osaka (Special Rapid Himeji, ticket needed), Osaka to Himeji (Special Rapid Himeji) and Osaka to Koyasan in Koya-Line. Very useful information when you go to the machines and show how they work, and how you pass through the gates. Thank you again!!
