Nishiki Market Kyoto 4K Walking Tour
Here is my Nishiki Market Kyoto 4K Walking Tour Video, which I took in September 2024 when I visited this beautiful place. Kyoto is not only about temples as one may think, but there are several markets and shopping streets to explore apart from the main street shopping in the Kawaramachi area.
Even me, I assumed that Kyoto was just a historical city with over 1000 temples and shrines, but after coming here twice in one year, I now understand the balance between ancient and modern, and Kyoto is the perfect example of this.
The Nishiki Market Kyoto is located in downtown Kawaramachi, which is the core area of Kyoto city, and this is where most visitors will stay at. While this place is bustling with activity, the temples are mostly out of the core area, and you need to take public transport to visit more of them.
But when you are in the city area, you can just walk to these beautiful and interesting markets and shopping streets to enjoy a different side of the Kyoto. Some of the main streets are interconnected, so you will go from one to another, and that’s the fun part.
