With the Shinkansen to Nagasaki & historical sites | China Town, Dejima Island & World War 2 museum
We’re going to the seaside city of Nagasaki today! With a lot of history and many mood changes, this vlog was difficult to make, so we hope you enjoy it!
From Fukuoka, we take the Shinkansen to Nagasaki, to spend a full day there. We learned a lot about the history of the second world war on this side of the globe, but also about the island of Dejima, where the Dutch were allowed to trade with the Japanese in the 16th century. It’s great to learn history from another countries perspective.
After all the history lessons, we strolled through the city center, paid a visit to Nagasaki’s China Town and walked across the Megane bridge.
