Kumamoto Prefecture, located in the center of Kyushu, is a region filled with rich nature and historical charm. In this video, I explore some of Kumamoto’s most scenic locations, sharing my travel experiences.

First, at Kikuchi Gorge, I experienced clear streams flowing through lush green forests. The area features beautiful waterfalls such as ‘Reimei Falls’ and ‘Shijusamman Falls,’ providing a tranquil environment filled with the soothing sounds of water and refreshing air.

At ‘Kitayama Observatory,’ I took in a breathtaking panorama of the vast Aso landscape, and later enjoyed authentic handmade soba at ‘Ujiyu Soba Shop,’ a must-try local delight.

Next, the enchanting ‘Nabegataki Falls’ felt like a scene from a storybook, allowing me to walk behind the curtain of water. Following this, I visited ‘Daikanbo,’ a 360-degree panoramic viewpoint where you can take in the grandeur of Mt. Aso and its surroundings. Finally, at ‘Kusasenrigahama,’ the vast grasslands and grazing horses created a soothing, picturesque experience.

I hope this video inspires you to explore the natural beauty and stunning scenery of Kumamoto as your next travel destination.”
