Ohh I felt so sorry for you. Such a long long travel day. These things happen. You were so calm troughout the vlog and you handled it well. Its a crappy experience but we learn from them for the future as well. Glad you got home safely in the end!

Oh no that is the worst missing a flight. I was deciding whether to book a hotel at or near the airport and I think I will now.
That kind of delay is highly unusual in Japan, but, travel is definitely unpredictable. At Narita, you can easily store your luggage for pretty cheap inside the airport. It’s on the arrivals level. Then you’re free to roam around. The town of Narita is a nice place. You can easily catch the subway to the town center and walk the main street that leads to a temple or take the tourist bus there. There is also a capsule hotel in the airport if you need to get some sleep. I think the airport also offers tours for people who have long layovers. Hopefully you won’t have to go through this again! 🤞

Omg Im so sorry that happened to you! I did the exact same thing a few days ago and it worked out perfectly! I also got the limousine bus around that time and took the JA flight to Frankfurt. What a shock it didnt work out. Im pretty sure especially in Japan you can get like a notice or sth when you arrive that late 😮

How amazing is it that you’ve never missed a flight with how much you travel. And what an amazing place to miss a flight at Sam! Hope it was okay, missing a flight is always stressful, once I got stuck in a snow storm going from where i lived in Austria to Munich and I had 6 hours to my flight and that’s how long it took. I was also alone during this. Sometimes crazy things happen 😄
So sorry you missed your flight! 😢I have a question about transportation. We're flying back home from Narita too, we're staying in the park till it closes and then I think we'll head to the airport, stay in a hotel there and be ready for our flight early in the morning. What do you think is the best means of transport? From what you shared, the buses don't run late in the evening. Thanks in advance! 😊

Good thing you caught the bus! If you took an Uber or a Taxi, you would be stuck in the same traffic…. but just imagine how high your fare would be! $500?
that really sucks!! you did everything right and it still went wrong. we took a limo bus service from narita to downtown tokyo and it was scary how accurate the times were! 😂 I guess when we leave we’ll be taking the trains!
