    I don’t think it’s a temple. Instead it is a Shinto shrine ⛩️. This is probably Nora Shrine 野田神社. It’s around 10min walk north from Kami-Yamaguchi train station 上山口駅.

    It has a “sister” shrine, Toyosaka Shrine 豊栄神社, right next to it immediately to the east. It is also worth a visit. Both shrines are dedicated to members of the Mōri clan, which ruled the area for hundreds of years through the Warring States period and the Tokugawa shogunate.
