I read that this festival celebrates lives and freedom, just as the name ‘放生’ already implies (same meaning in Chinese language). The moral behind this festival is indeed very meaningful.
It would be great if the weather was fair. Besides the inconvenience caused to everyone, stall owners must have also been anxious, as the rain would affect their business. The beautifully glowing sky at dusk was like the light after a tunnel, and coupled with the blue sky, it was like an assurance everything is fine again. Without experiencing the adversity of harsh weather, one may not fully appreciate and cherish the beauty which nature presented.
Thank you for choosing to present the reality of the festival event during such harsh weather conditions, which required a lot of perseverance and effort from you!
I recall in one of your recent videos featuring walking around Hakata station, you had also encountered having all weather conditions (rain, dark cloud, and blue sky) in the same video. You must have possessed amazing power to always gather all weather phenomenon lol
