We were super excited to go to Tsukiji Market, located in Tokyo, was once the bustling heart of Japan’s seafood trade and one of the world’s largest fish markets. We’ve had so much great fish dishes this trip, and as the prestigious tsukiji market, we expected no less. Visitors can explore a vibrant maze of specialty stores and stalls offering fresh seafood, sushi, and unique Japanese food items.After the wholesale market has moved to Toyosu, the outer market became more of a touristy spot and really killed the original vibe of the place.

I recommend going to sushi bars (omakase style) on the outskirts.
Also, don't get me wrong. It's not like the food wasn't good. At worst, you're going to get mediocre food in Japan. But when compared, the overpriced tag and the wait, it's not something I'm dying to go back to~
