I thought it’d be useful to talk through the itinerary of my Golden Route (ish) Japan trip to Tokyo, Kyoto an Osaka, as well as Kinosaki and Nagoya (2 weeks). The video includes a review of what we did, a few restaurants, the hits and misses and how it went. I hope it’s useful to see how long we spent in each place, and how much we fitted into our plans. Amy I am literally booking a trip to Japan this minute, your timing could not have been better
14 hrs on a plane is not my idea of fun, but i think i'd put up with it to travel to Japan.
I would say that even if it’s your first time trip – if you can, go to Haneda rather than Narita – a lot easier arrival and leaving. We also did Team Labs Planet (enjoyed, but loads of tourists. Not many Japanese people), and Small Worlds (fun, but expensive- definitely a wet weather fall back).
