Foodie Travel in Fukuoka – Ichiran Headquarters, Bougie Yakiniku, good music and good coffee

We went on a little road trip around Kyushu sometime April this year, starting from Fukuoka and hitting cities such as Nagasaki and Kagoshima along the way. The trip was filled with a lot of good food and great discoveries. Almost half a year has passed and I think it’s time to share our travel with you guys!

In this episode, I combined our first day and last days of the trip that were all taking place within Fukuoka. Subsequent episodes will be more chronological, following our trip itinerary.

Places featured:

Ushino: Japan, 812-0013 Fukuoka, Hakata Ward, Hakataekihigashi, 2 Chome−3−1 1F
A little pricey, but this yakiniku place is worth every penny… yen.

Ichiran HQ – 5 Chome-3-2 Nakasu, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka, 810-0801, Japan
Hakata style ramen as authentic as you can get it. You can’t go wrong here.

Bomber Kitchen – 2 Chome-2-18 Yakuin, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka, 810-0022, Japan
The aroma of the place called to us and welcomed us back when our original plan failed. Their chicken nanban was super filling and delicious!

Stereo Coffee – 3 Chome-8-3 Watanabedori, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka, 810-0004, Japan
Good music, good coffee. Wish we had more time to chill and enjoy the coffee and ambience.
