This is a video of “The Greatest Show,” the highlight program of the Omagari no Hanabi All Japan National Fireworks Competition, held at Omagari Fireworks Park in Daisen City, Akita Prefecture Japan on August 31, 2024.
The Omagari All Japan National Fireworks Competition, counted as one of the three major fireworks festivals in Japan, features daytime and nighttime fireworks competitions. In the nighttime fireworks competition, there are three categories: two 12 inch shells fireworks and one creative firework, and the competition is judged on beauty and consistency with the title.
The title of the fireworks provided at the final stage of the event is THE GREATEST SHOW.
This year, a program that won third place in the world at the Montreal International Fireworks Festival in Canada was arranged into an Omagari version of the fireworks, and a spectacular fireworks display of approximately 2,000 shots was launched over a width of 900 meters.

2024年8月31日に秋田県大仙市の大曲の花火公園で開催した、大曲の花火 全国花火競技大会の目玉プログラム、大会提供花火「The Greatest Show」の映像です。
日本三大花火大会の一つに数えられる大曲全国花火競技大会では、昼花火と夜花火の競技を行い、夜花火の部では10号玉2発と創造花火の3部門で競技を行い美しさやタイトルとの整合性が審査されます。
大会の終盤に行われる大会提供花火のタイトルはTHE GREATEST SHOW。
今年はカナダのモントリオール国際花火大会で銅賞を受賞したプログラムを大曲の花火バージョンにアレンジし、打ち上げ幅900メートル約2000発の壮大な花火が打ち上げられました。
