The photo shows the bell pavilion 鐘楼. From there the whole city of Kure as well as the naval base of Japanese SDF can be seen.
The temple is around 2km from the JR Kure train station, so it is within walkable distance. Alternatively you can take bus 3-1 (going to Nabe Sambashi) from the bus terminus next to the train station. Get off at Miyahara-nanachome 宮原7丁目 bus stop. It is a 5min walk from the bus stop to the temple.
