Thanks for the tour. I miss Umeda. I was surprised that there weren't that many tourists there. I didn't see any when I was there in March. There weren't any at Kuchu Teien Observatory either.
I find the underground transit-shopping-footpath structures fascinating. The only walkable underground shortcuts I've taken were between buildings in a college, and a hospital campus. No shopping or subway connections to be had there, though!

I will be there again in May next year for a month, and hopefully, I will run into you when I am out and about.
梅田は新宿と同じくらい人が多くて混雑していたり商業規模は大きいですが、地下や高層ビル内にフードコートとショッピングモールが永遠と続く街なので外国人観光客には退屈で魅力を感じないのだと思う。
一方で、天候に左右されないので地元民には生活しやすいエリアだと思う。新宿は路上にいろいろな店があるので楽しいですが、☔️雨や台風➰🌀の日には路上を歩きたくない。😭
