My Gran Class Shinkansen Experience – Shin Hokodate to Tokyo Station

In this Travel Experience we travel from Shin-Hakodate station in the north of Japan thru the Seikan Tunnel under the seabed of the Tsugaru Strait that separates Aomori Prefecture on the main Japanese island of Honshu from the northern island of Hokkaido and thru the countryside along the way to Tokyo Station. Enroute, the train calls on a number of stations along the way.

As far as comfort is concerned, Gran Class is the top level of luxury on the Hayabusa Shinkansen and seating is in a 2 by 1 arrangement featuring airline style business class seats. A delicious meal, snacks & slippers are included on all Gran Class services.
