What a $1800 Japan Summer Vacation is like

This is what a $1800 Japanese Summer Vacation is like staying 1 Hour away from Tokyo in the Atami area. This is one of my go-to Japan summer getaway spots. This beautiful Japanese seaside gem is one of the easiest ways to get away from Tokyo’s hectic pace, and we’re doing this trip like a Typical Japanese Summer Vacation with fireworks, kaiseki style ryokan dining, heavenly seafood, a beach day and onsen hot springs, but of course in our own style. After you step off the train at Atami station, you’re greeted by a lively shopping street packed with restaurants, souvenir shops, and an assortment of street food hitters. And before going to our hotel, we decided to get some lunch at the shopping street. It gets rather busy on weekends so we recommend going on the weekdays to beat the crowds…but since we’re doing the Japanese summer Firework experience, it has to happen on the weekend…and it’s gonna happen with all these people. Our hotel for this trip is actually 2 stations away from Atami station and then a 10 minute walk from when you arrive which was perfect for us as we wanted to have an even quieter and calming Japan countryside experience.

  1. I am concerned that there may not be many signs in Japanese as there are in English, which could make it difficult for tourists to navigate and find their way around. Additionally, if the people in the area do not speak English, it could further complicate communication and understanding.

  2. Love your content. It gives me a taste of Japanese culture that I will never be able to experience myself.

  3. Cold bath and saunas are absolutely awesome! I've done it a number of times over the years and it's so invigorating.

  4. So clean and well kept ! It is really nice to see such a caring and respectable culture/people , so so unlike our own where you have to always be on your toes or some simian will try and rob/hurt you .

  5. Is there anyway I can message Paolo From Tokyo there's something that I want to ask him privately that's been on my mind for months now. My friend says that it happened but these other people say it didn't. It would've been early in the year.

  6. Saunas in such hot weather, wow!
Saunas are great, but the feeling comes from stress hormones that are relieved afterwards with endorphins

  7. Everyone do their own parenting their way, but I feel like riding the elevator again when your kids trows a tantrum because he didnt get to press the button, or any similar situation, is teaching him the wrong thing. Because he learns that trowing tantrums is a way to get what you want, and thats really not what you want I can imagine. But on holidays everything is a bit special so maybe its just his lucky day! 😀 Thanks for the video, amazing as always.

  8. Wolfie cheering Kampai, then watching his dad take the drink so he can time it is priceless haha. The wee man is a gem.

  9. I have been dreaming about that kind of Summer vacation a long time !! Now I'm already 2 years in japan and still even haven't when to Onsen or Paublick bath…..

Even Firework Festival in Osaka was failer~ But I will defiantly try to do it again~
