Kyoto seems to be one of those places that is photogenic in just about any weather. When the rain starts coming down, I often find that one of the many zen gardens found within the area make for a particularly peaceful place to find refuge.

Beautiful photo. Perhaps a bit too high on the color saturation but lovely mood and framing. I agree, Kyōto is just one of those places that offer so much potential for spectacular photography.
