I brought a bottle of this back from Japan and haven’t been able to find this anywhere. I live in a major metroplex with a high Asian population and so far none of the stores I’ve been to have it. Does anyone know where I can find this online (or in a store)?

The katakana reads gochujan (aka gochujang), so it appears to be the Japanese version of the Korean pepper paste. Maybe something you can recreate, if you have Korean groceries in your area?
Editing to add that it’s a blend of 3 sauces: gochujang, doubanjiang (Chinese broad bean paste), and “tenmenjian”, which I assume is the Chinese tianmianjiang (aka sweet bean paste).
