Beautiful Fall colors in Hokyoin temple in Arashiyama Kyoto, breathtaking scenery in Japanese garden

Have you ever visited temples in Kyoto during the autumn season?
Every year, many Japanese and overseas tourists visit Kyoto to admire the fall foliage.

About Hokyo-in
Hokyo-in Temple is a Rinzai Zen Buddhist temple built between 1053 and 1129 by direct order of Emperor Shirakawa, similar to Todaiji, Daianji, and Yakushiji temples. From the end of the Heian period (794-1185) until the Kamakura period (1185-1333), members of the imperial family served as the chief priests of the temple. In 1917, the temple was restored.
The temple is not very large but is well-maintained and breathtaking.
It is one of the best spots for viewing fall colors in the Arashiyama area.
