the town frozen in time

travelling to Narai Juku, in Nagano, Japan, the town frozen in time. this town used to be an important stop for travellers on the Nakasendo highway connecting Kyoto and Tokyo during the Edo period (1603-1868). it has been really well preserved, smells of wood, there are chopstick shops, gohei mochi and mysterious shrines. #solotraveljapan #nagano #japanvlog

This town had an incredibly tranquil atmosphere, I can’t even describe it. I’ve never heard more calming silence in my life.
So glad I got off the train to Matsumoto to explore this train. Deciding things day by day, subscribe to continue the adventureee
