Los Angeles California, one of the world’s wealthiest places yet poorest at the same time. I go downtown to meet up with Colby, (https://aviatorusa.com) a local business owner to get the scoop on what’s going on.

Adventure Elliot is a bilingual travel vlogger (English and Spanish) with a particular interest in the Spanish speaking world. I enjoy taking adventures – big or small – and my goal is to show the Spanish speaking world 1 video at a time.
The goal of my channel is simple yet complex: I want to document and share authentic & educational content of anything related to Adventure Travel, Geography, & Language in the Spanish-speaking world. It’s kind of a loaded topic, but it allows me to never exhaust my creative outlets. The truth is, I’ve always been extremely passionate about what I’m doing on my channel, but I never properly documented it when I started adventuring as a younger man in my college years. I’ve made over 150 Youtube videos in both English and Spanish, and I have aspirations to make 1000s more. If that sounds interesting to you, join the community and follow me along the way.. After all, we’re just getting started.

Careful with the 💩 on the floor, only drug addicts and homeless people this democratic creat this mess
I am a proud Asian. For all Americans, lets be honest here, Dont hate me coz i tell the truth. So here's the story: I am an Asian. Previously an Engineer and was assigned for about 2 years plus in USA. As far as i observed, I found out that American culture is in decay. Its proven in the office and any american workplace. The people are lax, lousy, keeps on whining, always complaining and complacent. Morale is very low. Patriotism is very low. That is a sign that the social status of USA is in Apathy.

Wow that just makes me sad. All of these immigrants have work and they escaped war but it’s only a matter of time that it will be here in America if the people don’t vote wisely.
Sorry but I will never step foot in LA.
I could feel your skepticism and have really never seen you like that abroad.
Says how bad things in the US are. Sad sad sad
Hopefully people come to their senses.
Homelessness is completely out of control in the USA. Thanks for showing us the reality of it all.
What an argument from this German dude. Literally Europe is open and you have everything as well
Good video Elliott! I like the Aviator guy, very cool. Wild horses couldn't drag me to LA. The traffic is horrible.
Hi Elliott, we haven't talked in years. And you featured my hometown that I left in late 2017. It's nice to know that there are still optimistic entrepreneurs like the owner of Aviator Jeans that continue to thrive in L.A. despite the homeless problem, mismanaged gov't., crime and such. You really went to the bad areas–skid row, Compton, MacArthur Park. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. Btw, your video is so sharp and clear. What make & model of camera are you using now?
Born and raised in los Angeles love it wouldn't change it. Teaches you to be resilient, if you want it go out there and get it. Yea everything expensive but the pay is amazing here . I work for the city love it.
What a waste of time video, just walk around bothering people.
Dork!!
I'm a 62 year old native of this once great deep red Republican stronghold and Jackass policies did this, I watched it happen. And no, bitch, it hasn't always been this way. 20 million fucking transplants did this. Fuck you!
If you want to clear a city you let the animals do as they please, why the Democrats want to clear the city? I'm not sure 🤔 It is well known that all of these worst run down cities are run by democrats.
Actually you do see the same poverty in Germany. I was in Frankfurt and the area near the central station was pretty scary. You will see tons of people on drugs all over the city center. It was just as bad as American cities, which was very unexpected.
I about died when you said skid row(bike lane) was maybe a tourist attraction 🤣
"Immigrants"… What evidence do you have that proves they're not migrant workers simply here to work and send money home to Guatemala?
The wealthy socialist is trying to sell the communist state that is that is pretty much on its downward spiral to destruction.
It’s a garbage pit now. Most beautiful state there ever was. Now ruined by drugs, blight, homelessness. Our politicians are corrupted and our country is falling.
Mexico is part of North America.
Trump 2024 wake up
If you think L As bad, visit London the stabbing and cell phone theft capital of the world !😢
Is LA safe to receive Olympic 2028 in this kind of state?
Que Viv's Torreon
And they won’t American pie 🥧 for any land, American Dream 🛌💩
that 65 year old dude from the other youtube video is an inspiration. such a cool guy. love from germany
Adventure Elliot please visit Kensington in Philadelphia its more worse than skid row.
New pandemics this year..don't fall for it.
The bodyguard, the host dog and of course the distinguished guest. And despite this heavy pack, the host is still required to hide his Breitling watch in his pants pocket. What a crappy place.
The man at the beginning of the video is definitely not a German tourist.
No German accent at all is strange.
What he says doesn't make any sense either. Germany is so centrally located in Europe that you have just as much choice of landscapes as in the USA.
This man defines freedom by the size of the country, which doesn't speak for a German.
If he had been asked where he came from in Germany, he would definitely have said Berlin because he doesn't know any other German city.
That wasn't all that made it clear that it wasn't German.
Why didn't you notice that when you recorded it?
California can thank the governor Gavin about this
Why you guys don't use camera shades while walking around I don't know. The audio is great, HD video……..and you can walk around making a video without anyone knowing you are filming. It's so much better, so much safer. Invest in a pair!
I’m from L.A., you couldn’t pay me to travel through downtown L.A. today.
This video does not show the whole of downtown L.A. South Central or East L.A.
Look lady in the pink it has not always been like that in Los Angeles the homeless was very little to none. Back in the 1960s and 1970s. Downtown was so clean in the 60s a woman could go shopping with there children and have no problem with crime I left LA in 2009
8:13 shameless plug , great way to promote both channels 😂
New subscriber I just found your channel and I’m about to binge watch your entire channel, I love the very different prospective you bring to the places you travel. Thanks❤
The 5 county area is L.A., Orange, Riverside, San Bernadino, and Ventura. With visitors, it's estimated on any given day that there are 25 million people living in those counties and few millions more transiting through. It's a busy place and by far, the largest city out west. It's a magnet for weather and opportunity. People go on holiday and a little thought is planted in their minds, and it says, "Hmmm … how would it be to pick up and move to L.A."? Some do and then move on … back to their hometown or elsewhere. Locals are moving to Las Vegas & Phoenix because an Angelino would likely not move to San Francisco and vice versa'. Urban California is a victim of it's own success but rural California, wine country et. al, are still marvelous.
